Solar panel installation

In 2022, Suominen installed solar panels to its site in Alicante. The initiative aligns with the Suominen’s Sustainability Agenda and commitment to renewable energy. The installation enhances energy efficiency, leading to a decrease in CO₂ emissions.

The project received financial assistance from IVACE's IDAE SELF-CONSUMO Facilities program, funded by the European Union's Next Generation EU European Recovery Fund, under the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge's Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan.
