Suominen held a Sustainability & Innovative Fibers Seminar in Windsor Locks, US, on February 29, 2024. The seminar brought together professionals from across the nonwoven production value chain, providing a much-needed platform for meaningful discussions, knowledge exchange, and networking opportunities. The Seminar gathered around 50 participants and received overwhelmingly positive feedback.

Insightful presentations on sustainability, innovative fibers and the trends of the nonwovens business were delivered by Dr. Manuel Clauss, R&D Director at Fibers365 GmbH, Jürgen Eizinger, Senior Commercial Director EU/AM/MEA at Lenzing Group, George Joncas, VP, Fibers Sales, Americas at Indorama Ventures Hygiene Fibers, Inc., Celine Moreira, Global Key Account Manager at Polymateria Limited, Matthew (Matt) O’Sickey, Ph.D., Director of Education, Technical Affairs, and Events at INDA and Noora Rantanen, Manager, Sustainability & Marketing at Suominen. The seminar program also included a visit to the Suominen’s production site and piloting facility.
