SUOMINEN IKAMER ISSUES LAYOFF WARNING

Due to the general market situation, and on the basis of estimates by
customers, a temporary decline is predicted in demand for products of Suominen
Ikamer. Therefore, the Ikamer business unit will initiate employee negotiations
concerning potential lay-offs that involve the entire personnel, approximately
60 people. The intention is to implement the lay-offs in short periods for 38
days during the rest of the year. 

Suominen Ikamer has its operations in the town of Ikaalinen and manufactures
flexible security and system packages.
