Suominen Flexibles concluded employee negotiations at the Norrköping plant
SUOMINEN CORPORATION STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 21 SEPTEMBER 2009 AT 4.30 P.M. SUOMINEN FLEXIBLES CONCLUDED EMPLOYEE NEGOTIATIONS AT THE NORRKÖPING PLANT Employee negotiations started in August at Suominen Flexibles' Norrköping plant have been concluded. As a result of the negotiations, operations at the Norrköping plant will be closed down by the end of January 2010 and production will be transferred to other Suominen Flexibles' plants. At the Norrköping plant, 32 employment contracts will be terminated gradually in accordance with reductions in production. The closure of the plant is expected to result in extra costs of EUR 0.5 million for the current year. Suominen Flexibles continues its operations in Sweden with a sales and customer service unit.
