Paul-Erik Toivo appointed head of Suominen Wipes and Nonwovens

Mr. Paul-Erik Toivo (51), B.Sc.(econ.), has been appointed Vice President and   
General Manager of Suominen Wipes and Nonwovens business area and member of the 
Corporate Executive Team. He joins the Company on 17 March 2008. Mr. Toivo has  
been working for Metso Corporation since 1999. There he has held various        
positions such as President for Sako Oy and most recently he was responsible for
the global sales and marketing development of Metso Panelboard. Previously he   
has held several managerial positions in international consumer goods companies.

At Suominen Codi Wipes business unit, located in the Netherlands, Mr. Peter     
Kolster, General Manager, Operations, Mr. Olaf van Stempvoort, Sales Director,  
and Mr. Henri Laitervo, Director of Marketing and Offering, will report to Mr.  
Paul-Erik Toivo. Also Mr. Sakari Santa-Paavola, General Manager of Suominen     
Nonwovens business unit, located in Finland, will report to Mr. Toivo.
