Mikko Pellinen appointed head of Suominen Flexible Packaging

SUOMINEN CORPORATION      STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 14 JULY 2008 AT 10.30 A.M.     

MIKKO PELLINEN APPOINTED HEAD OF SUOMINEN FLEXIBLE PACKAGING                    

Mr. Mikko Pellinen (39), M.Sc. (Eng.), has been appointed Vice President and    
General Manager of Suominen Flexible Packaging business area and member of the  
Corporate Executive Team. He will start in his new position on 1 November 2008  
at the latest. Mr. Pellinen joins Suominen from the position of Commercial      
Director of Amcor Flexibles Finland Oy. Previously he has held various R&D,     
customer service, and sales related positions at Åkerlund & Rausing Oy and Amcor
Flexibles Finland Oy.
