Suominen Flexibles’ Nastola plant will be closed down by the end of August

Production at the Nastola plant of Suominen Flexibles will be termi-nated by the end of August. As a result of the employee negotiations which were concluded in last autumn, the plant will be closed down and production will be transferred to other plants of Suominen Flexibles. The measures aim to secure the long-term competitiveness of Flexibles’ operations.
Printing operations are already terminated at the Nastola plant and extrusion operations will end before the Midsummer. Lamination will continue until the end of July when the laminator will be transferred to the Tampere plant. Warehouse operations will continue by the end of July.
