Primulan Leipomot, one of Helsinki's leading bakers, will deliver their Täysruis Tempo and Tempo Fitness bread in updated packaging featuring a transparent window from May onwards. The new AmerViewTM
solution combines a transparent window and AmerFeelTM
pleasant-touch plastic film.
“AmerView™ keeps baked goods fresh more effectively than traditional paper packaging or plastic-coated paper bags,” explains Suominen Flexibles’ NPD Manager Ari-Pekka Pietilä. “This offers added convenience to consumers, as products no longer have to be transferred from a paper bag to a plastic one at home to ensure they stay fresh.”
AmerView™ is ideal for products where visibility means everything. The window section enables consumers to get a good look at the product and see that they are buying a first-class bakery product. “We chose this new AmerView™ solution as it offers very rich colours and is soft to the touch. It’s important that packaging complements the product inside and is likely to catch the consumer’s eye better than competing products on the shelf,” says Product Manager Sanna Maronen from Primulan Leipomot.
AmerView™ packaging can be printed in up to 10 colours, and thanks to the ability to vary the location and shape of the window, solutions can be tailored to customers’ needs. AmerView™ bags are produced from transparent, white or black-and-white multilayer polyethylene or polypropylene film. If customers want to give a product a particular highlight, AmerFeel™ film, as selected by Primulan Leipomot for its Tempo products, offers an excellent choice. With different film combinations, it is possible to provide specific features, such as improved freezability.
Primulan Leipomot’s Tempo products offer a range of healthy options. Täysruis Tempo is baked from 100% rye and contains 13% fibre. Tempo Fitness combines the benefits of rye and oats and contains whole oat kernels. Both products are supplied in popular six-packs.
