Manager, Category Management, Europe

We are now looking for a new Colleague to join our Category Management Team for permanent position in Europe. Location can be in Finland or in Milan area in Italy. 

With us, you would be part of an energetic, global Category Management team with results-oriented and respectful work culture. 

The main purpose of the job is to manage dedicated tactical product categories of the company in a region.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • To manage and own dedicated tactical product categories on regional level
  • To develop, drive and analyze actionable and measurable short term growth plans for promoting existing products in collaboration with the Senior Managers
  • Responsible of Annual Launch Plans on existing product activations
  • To provide pricing guidance and support to Pricing Analyst and sales teams on existing products pricing
  • To act as sales team´s main point of contact for customer requests on existing product portfolios or small product upgrades and has responsibility of those
  • To act as product specialist and to provide product training for the organization on existing product portfolio
  • Responsible for product portfolio management for existing products for all categories in collaboration with the Senior Managers

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2C or B2B product management, preferably in industrial companies in global setting
  • Fluent English skills (working knowledge in other languages considered as an asset)
  • Master’s degree, preferable technical or commercial
  • Nonwoven, pulp, textile or fibre knowledge is an asset
  • Analytical, systematic and structured mindset, with technical acumen
  • Creative thinker and problem solver skills
  • Innovative, consumer and customer driven mindset
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office (especially with Excel)
  • Capable and willing to travel
