Novelin® is the longest-established member of Suominen’s nonwovens product range, and was the first product of its type in Europe when it was originally launched. Novelin® has not stood still since then, however, and its product properties have been continually enhanced over the years. As a result, it remains an excellent choice for coverstock in a range of hygiene products, whether diapers, tampons and sanitary towels, or incontinence products.
Excellent properties
A thermobonded product – manufactured from 100 % polypropylene or polyethylene and polypropylene, depending on the application – Novelin® offers excellent surface dryness and superior softness and smoothness, all critical properties in hygiene applications. In terms of its production process, Novelin® is highly flexible, as it only requires a minimum proportion of a fusible fibre, which can be combined with virtually any other cardable raw material.
