Suominen has a significant share of the European market, and we also sell nonwovens into the North American and Russian market. Customers for our Fibrella® and Novelin® products include some of the world’s leading consumer brands, a number of which we have supplied for many years. Biolace® builds on this solid track record and offers a solution for customers, particularly those with high-profile brands, wanting to go with a nonwoven produced solely from natural fibres or fibres from renewable sources. KarelinTM brings naturalness and soothing features to hygiene products.
In-house fibre production
Our in-house polypropylene fibre production gives us a number of additional advantages. In addition to cost savings and increased supply reliability, we can fine-tune and optimise our end-products to a much greater extent than would be possible normally. We produce PP-fiber for our own use.
