Suominen Flexibles’ multilayer polyethylene film makes an excellent vertical packaging material for a very wide range of frozen and dry food. Good mechanical strength with thinner film is guaranteed, as is good machinability. Thanks to the excellent hot tack properties of the inner layer of our products, you can achieve strong and reliable sealing performance every time, whether you use hot air, impulse, or heating element welding.
A high-gloss outer layer, combined with high-quality flexographic printing up to 10-colours, also guarantees your packaging an attractive appearance.
Laminated film offers more
Our laminated films offer a range of combinations of PE, PP, BOPP, EVOH and PET, suitable for all vertical pack and flowpack machines fitted with heat sealers, to give you overlapping or projecting lengthwise welds.
Laminated solutions offer more opportunities in terms of decoration and surface effects for stand-out products, together with greater functionality in areas such as easy opening and closing and perforation. Sealability is also better, and improved hot tack properties result in faster sealing at lower temperatures, and give you a wider sealing window.
Greater stiffness and impact resistance compared to conventional multilayer film solutions enable you to downgauge film thickness. With our tailored laminate structures your barrier requirements will be fulfilled. Optimised opacity and gloss ensure premium print quality.
