The biggest single advantage of our Fibrella® nonwoven range is that we can tailor it to the needs of virtually any wiping or cleaning application – from baby and personal care to household and industrial cleaning. Its textile-like feel, softness, and durability make it particularly suitable for baby and personal care wipes. Fibrella® is also a good choice for health care and medical applications, such as wound treatment, as special production methods that we have developed in-house enable us to produce a soft product that is highly absorbent. Fibrella®’s low-linting and non-fraying properties only make it an even more attractive option in this area.

Cost-effective too

As converters need to use significantly less Fibrella® than conventional materials, such as tissues and towels, to achieve a similar level of performance, it is very cost-effective. Fibrella® binder-free, hydroentangled nonwovens are based on a carefully selected family of raw materials – such as polypropylene, polyester, viscose, Ingeo™ fibers, and cotton – to give the right level of absorbency and cleaning performance for the job in hand.

We can fine-tune Fibrella® to specific types of converting lines to give optimum runnability, adding a further dimension to the cost efficiency equation.
