AmerChain - stand-up pouches stand out on the shelf

Stand-up pouches are expected to be one of the fastest growing areas due to the growth of single portions and pre-processed foods. Stand-up pouches are mainly used in applications such as liquids, sweets, confectionery, dry food, pet food or detergents.

Suominen's AmerChain^TM stand-up pouches are manufactured using AmerChain^TM system packaging method. Pouches are linked together as a continuous chain to be able to run perfectly when a packaging machine opens and seals the bags. AmerChain^TM bags combined with the right packaging machine offer cost-efficient alternative with low start-up costs compared to manual packaging or more expensive, bigger packaging line.

Stand-up pouches can be manufactured from wide range of materials, such as mono and coextruded PE, PP, and BOPP, AmerFeel^TM or laminated films and triplex solutions. When reclosable solution is needed, Zipper grip can be included in the pouch. Special laminated film for easy opening needs is also available without zipper solutions.
